For years this track has been to me the most singularly inspiring and unbelievable piece of music that I have ever heard. It has shaded countless bike rides in the rain, trips alone on public transport, nights of tossing and turning over painful moments of lonely insignificance as well as nights filled with total awareness and feelings of completeness. I look forward to looking back through this lens when I'm an old man as I imagine it would point me to some otherwise long forgotten places

@kaashaas LSD hasn't been directly linked to any deaths whatsoever, it's impossible to overdose on. And has dramatically affected music compared to E..
It is a very potent drug, meaning you only need small quantities so those deaths related to suicide were as said before, about set & setting. People usually know their limits, some idiots will drink a vial and go out to parties, retarded but still not nearly as bad as taking 1000 E tabs at once then going, because you would physically die.
FUCKSALT666 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@kaashaas That's got to be the worst idea I've ever heard, "do ecstacy, stay away from LSD". Yeah, eat away at my spine to not doing any physical damage whatsoever. The theory that it makes you immediately commit suicide is absolutely retarded. Have you at least even tried shrooms before you made any of these claims? Or did you just do 20 minutes of research on some poorly written article? Actually, Ecstacy affects your ability to produce endorphin's, causing depression.

@trianglemangler its nothing more than a catalyst, the brain does the rest. its also common knowledge that it sits in your spine. I'm not arguing about this.
trianglemangler (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@prefusehead pretty sure you don't know what you're talking about dude, it has def. been linked with causing (or maybe, if you prefer, "activating") mental problems in the long-term
and even if you could somehow say that those problems were already "latent" in the person, surely it's still a bad thing if a drug causes them to erupt in a permanently destructive way? Don't see how you can say this is nothing to worry about
plus I'm pretty sure the spine thing is total bullshit.
